PsalmPsalm 23: 1-3, 3-4, 5, 6
Second Reading1 Peter 2:20-25
Gospel ReadingJohn 10:1-10

“Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” Even in the time of Jesus Christ, corruption was already present. The world has always carried both light and darkness—good and evil, justice and oppression. Nothing about our time is entirely new. And maybe that’s the point: suffering is not something we outgrow as humanity. It stays. It evolves. It finds new forms. Yet, in the middle of it, we are still called not to despair, but to hope; because our hope is in Him.

Hibla: The Message of the Readings

The psalm reminds us: when we cling to the Shepherd, we are filled and at peace—even if life isn’t. Yet we often focus more on survival—bills, plans, security—than on feeding our spirit.

Hugot: Points to Ponder

I get distracted by worries and forget His voice. I chase stability but feel unsettled.

Hamon: The Challenge

Today, set aside 5–10 minutes of silence—no phone, no noise—and listen.
Read the Gospel, talk to Him honestly, and entrust one specific worry to the Shepherd.
