On the Feast of the Santo Niño, we are reminded that God chose to come to us as a child.
Isaiah says, “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.”
Today, Jesus shows us where that light is found.
Hibla: The Message of the Readings
A child at the center.
A light in the darkness.
A Kingdom revealed through humility.
Hugot: Points to Ponder
Jesus says the Kingdom belongs to those who become like children.
Not because children are perfect—but because they trust, depend, and allow themselves to be held.
The Santo Niño teaches us that light comes not through control,
but through surrender.
Hamon: The Challenge
What if the great light you are waiting for
will only appear when you stop trying to be strong?
Today, allow yourself to be small.
Let Christ in you be the light.
