Tonight, we celebrate God’s saving work in a way that awakens all our senses. From the blessing of fire to the lighting of the Paschal candle, from the ringing of bells to the vibrant colors of flowers and altar cloths, each moment is a sign that life has triumphed over darkness. We remember how God has guided His people through creation, deliverance, and promise—and now, in Christ’s Resurrection, His faithfulness is made real and joyful before our eyes.
Hibla: The Message of the Readings
God’s saving power is alive, present in history, and fulfilled in Christ. The rituals we witness—the spreading of light, the sounds, the colors—all invite us to experience salvation not just as a story from the past, but as a present joy that transforms our lives.
Hugot: Points to Ponder
Do I allow myself to be fully part of this celebration of life, hope, and light, or do I approach God’s work as something distant and separate?
Hamon: The Challenge
Step into this “resurrected” day with all your senses: embrace joy, hope, and new life, and let the light of Christ shine in even the darkest corners of your heart.
