Life inevitably brings burdens, struggles, and suffering. Yet Jesus does not promise a life without hardships. Instead, He invites us to take His yoke and assures us that when we walk with Him, we never carry our burdens alone.

Hibla: The Message of the Readings

God is gentle and compassionate toward His people. Through the Holy Spirit, He gives us new life and the strength to overcome sin. In the Gospel, Jesus invites all who are weary to come to Him, promising not the absence of burdens but His faithful presence in carrying them.

Hugot: Points to Ponder

Many of us spend our lives trying to prove that we can handle everything on our own. We carry worries in silence, refuse help, and believe strength means never struggling. But Jesus offers a different kind of strength. He does not ask us to pretend we are okay; He simply says, “Come to me.” Sometimes the greatest act of faith is allowing Him to carry the weight with us.

Hamon: The Challenge

This week, bring one burden to Jesus instead of carrying it alone. Begin each day with a simple prayer: “Lord, help me carry this with You.” Then take your next step in faith, trusting that His grace is enough.
