Following God does not exempt us from suffering, rejection, or fear. Yet today’s readings remind us that even in our darkest moments, we are never abandoned. The God who knows every hair on our head watches over us with love and care.

Hibla: The Message of the Readings

God sees the struggles of His people and remains faithful to them. Though Jeremiah faced opposition and the psalmist cried out in distress, both trusted in the Lord’s saving presence. Jesus assures His disciples that they are precious in God’s eyes and need not be afraid.

Hugot: Points to Ponder

There are moments when we feel unseen, forgotten, or alone in our struggles. We wonder if God notices our tears, our disappointments, or the burdens we carry in silence. Yet the Lord reminds us that we are worth more than many sparrows and that nothing in our lives escapes His loving gaze.

Hamon: The Challenge

When fear or worry arises this week, pause and offer a short prayer of trust: “Lord, I place this in Your hands.” Let faith guide your response instead of fear.
